Miles walked into the Pokemon Gym doors and entered a small, but packed waiting room. He wrote his name on a small sign-up sheet and sat down next to a boy with spiky green hair, "Hi," said Miles. "You're here for the Gym badge too?" The boy nodded lazily and continued to read a newspaper entitled, "The Luminress Gazette." "So," said Miles, casually. "What's your team?"

The boy shrugged he seemed to be paying Miles little to no attention. A woman soon entered and took the boy nicely by the hand and started to take him into one of the nearby doorways. Soon one by one all of the trainers went into the rooms and they slowly came back. Almost all of them depressed. The boy with the spiky green hair was gone the longest. He came back looking confident. On his way out he flashed Miles a look at his new badge. He was apparently strong enough to beat the Gym Leader.
Another woman approached Miles. She smiled and said "If you would be so kind as to come this way to your first Gym Battle."

The woman continued to drone on about the rules, then pointed out two doors. One marked Cheryl and the other marked Luke. She told Miles that once he defeated his choice trainer he would proceed through another door to battle the Jr. Gym Leader, Brandon. He went through the door on the right, marked Cheryl. Inside, a small, but energetic looking little girl with dark, braided hair and yellow highlighted ends stood waiting for her next challenger.

The girl didn't even flash Miles a smile. She simply lobbed her Pokeball into the air. Murkrow quickly emerged beside her.

Miles sent out his Starly, Robin, so that the girl's Murkrow did not have an aerial advantage, which could predict the outcome of the battle in a flash.
He quickly ordered Robin to use full-force Quick Attacks. She rammed into the Murkrow continuously, pushing her body against the black feathered Pokemon.

Cheryll shouted at her black bird pokemon to attack back with Pursuit. Despite Murkrow's faster speed, Starly's Quick Attack landed first damaging the poor pokemon. Murkrow girmaced and rebounded with a pursuit.

Robin continued to charge forward, evading each and every move of the opponent, while getting in some mildly effective Quick Attacks.

Murkrow rebounded after Starly's last successful Quick Attack with Pursuit. Murkrow slammed into Starly sending it into the ground with plenty of force and vigor. Starly remained on the ground. No matter what cheering or shouting it heard. IT had ran out of energy and had fainted. Cheryl let a brief smile overtake her.

Miles looked surprised at Robin's defeat, but only for a moment. He sent out Zach and the Sea Weasel Pokemon darted out of his Pokeball and started aiming Sonicbooms at the Pokemon immediatley. He used strategy to confuse the opponent next, when the Pokemon was momentarily hurt, he sent Sonicbooms at the walls, which bounced off Murkrow, while he was still weak.

Mrukrow remained unfazed at the Sonicbooms. Instead Cheryl was watching the Sonicbooms preparing to tell Murkrow to dodge them. When she felt it was safe enough she commanded Murkrow to attack with Pursuit. The darke mpowered Mrukrow bombarded the sea weasel ripping into its body with its sharp beak and talons.

Buizel dove into a small pool at the side of the room.
He seemed to disappear in the water, and the Murkrow perched on the pool side. Then, the Buizel shot out of the water, aiming a Sonicboom at the bird first.
Water splashed everywhere and the bird Pokemon was soaked.

*There's a pool? I didn't know that! If you are going to make field alterations please state them in your first post. If not I am considering it to be a normal field. I will allow you to add a pool though.*
Murkrow's superior speed allowed him to get the first attack in with a Pursuit. Despite Murkrow's hit, Buizel's body was already commited to the Sonic Boom attack and it launched one straight into Murkrow's head. Murkrow fell down defeated.
Cheryll looked displeased but she simply returned Murkrow and sent out her Poochyena. The little black dog growled ferociously at his opponent.
Buizel is knocked out and it gains 6 EXP leveling it up to level 10! (I gave him EXP because technically he did KO Murkrow. I always hated it when you didn't get EXP for something like this.)
*Speed matters. And right now there is a 15 point difference between Murkrow and Buizel. Murkrow would attack first.*

((Oops! Sorry... I always imagine the Gym fields with maybe a small pond, or a large one, depending on the trainer's Pokemon))
Miles smiled. He sent out a Pokeball and in a burst of light...Zigzagoon appeared. He charged forward in fierce Tackle, then began using his claws to scratch a the small black dog. He wanted to make himself gain an advantage, perfect eyesight.
Miles cheered on Dyllan in the background.

The small black dog flinched with every hit that Dylan and his sharp claws delivered. The Poochyena soon found a break and used Tackle slamming its own body into Dylan's. The Raccoon Pokemon was slammed backwards. The Poochyena barked viciously at the opposing Pokemon. It was apparently confident in a win.

Dyllan growled at the Poochyena. He snarled loudly and Tackled the small black dog. Then he tried ramming himself against the small dog's body continuously as his strategy.

The small hound-like Pokemon took several tackle attacks before it decided to bite back. Poochyena surged forward with its own powerful legs and tackled straight into the poor raccoon-like pokemon. Dylan was tossed over the field and it slowly rolld over onto its side. It was exhausted from the fight. It had been KO'd.

Miles returned the small raccoon Pokemon into it's Pokeball and sent out his Wooper, Willy.

The Pochyena howled with excitement about the new Pokemon being flung into the fight. It wasted no time to launch one successive Tackle Attack after another at the poor mudfish Pokemon.

Wooper used a Water Gun, and approached the Pokemon cautiously, using a Tail Whip and then a Mud Sport to blind the opponent. Then he shot two more Water Guns in the Pokemon's direction.

The Poochyena was blasted with a cold blast of water from Willy's mouth. Poochyena then gathered up enough strength to Tackle Willy while it was doing both its Tail Whip and Mud Sport routine. Wooper was knocked back and badly damaged. It struggled to return to its feet. Wooper unleashed two more powerful Water Guns in Poochyena's direction.
